Mamiya Digital PhotoStudio Update

We are releasing the version 1.3.0 of the Mamiya Digital PhotoStduio.

The program was updated for the following changes

1)		Change of the name of company to Mamiya Digital Imaging Co., Ltd.
2)		Addition of universal binary to be compatible with “Intel-based Mac computer”.

Follow the procedures below to update the program installed on your computer.


	<Precautions for updating>
・	Mamiya Digital PhotoStuido must be installed in your computer to run this updater.
・	Updaters below are for the English versions of Mamiya Digital PhotoStudio.
・	For the Japanese versions, jump to the Japanese page.

<Updating Instructions> Windows

1.		Create a work folder where you place the downloaded file.
2.		Click the “Windows” button below.
3.		Save the updater program “MDPS_update.exe” (4.21MB) in the work folder.
4.		Double-click the MDPS_update.exe icon, and it will self-extract in a new folder.
5.		Double-click the Setup.exe icon in the new folder, and the updater will install itself.
		If Mamiya Digital PhotoStudio is not installed in your computer, cancel the updating procedures in accordance with the message that will appear on display.
6.		Delete the work folder if updating has been successfully done.

<Updating Instructions> Macintosh

1.		Click on the “Macintosh” button below. The file will download to the desktop as “MDPS_update.dmg” (6MB).
2.		Double-click the downloaded file, and DiskCopy will create a disk image.
3.		Double-click “Mamiya Digital PhotoStduio.pkg” in the created “MDPS_update” disk image. Follow the instructions on screen to install the updating program.
4.		If Mamiya Digital PhotoStudio is not installed in your computer, cancel the updating procedures in accordance with the message that will appear on display.

<Updating Instructions> Intel-based Mac

1.		Click on the “Intel Mac” button below. The file will download to the desktop as “MDPS_update.dmg” (12MB).
2.		Double-click the downloaded file, and DiskCopy will create a disk image.
3.		Double-click “Mamiya Digital PhotoStduio.pkg” in the created “MDPS_update” disk image. Follow the instructions on screen to install the updating program.
4.		If Mamiya Digital PhotoStudio is not installed in your computer, cancel the updating procedures in accordance with the message that will appear on display.

Software License Agreement

We, Mamiya Digital Imaging Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called “Mamiya”) and the customer (hereinafter called the “Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions with respect to using the software.
1.		License to use
		The copyrights and all the rights to merchandise are retained by Mamiya and the Licensor to Mamiya. Mamiya grants the Customer the following rights to use the Software based on the rights Mamiya owns. (1) the rights to use (input, memorize, transfer and output) the Software personally on a single computer owned by the customer, (2)the right to make one copy of the Software in machine-readable form for backup purpose only.
2.		Period of License
		The License to use becomes effective at the time where the Customer commenced using the Software and continues to be valid until the Customer ceases to use. This Agreement shall be automatically terminated without any notice, if the Customer breaches any terms and conditions set forth herein. If this Agreement is terminated, the Customer shall immediately destroy the Software and all copies thereof.
3.		Prohibition
		The Customer may not; (1)make copies of entire or any part of the Software in any form or medium other than one copy for back up purpose, (2)change, modify, reverse engineering, or reverse compiling the contents of the Software (Program), (3)lease, assign, resell, distribute, or provide on network the Software and/or any copy thereof, (4)directly or indirectly export the Software and any related materials, (5)do any acts other than those permitted under this license agreement.
4.		Responsibilities of Mamiya
		Mamiya provides no warranty with respect to using the Software, and Mamiya shall in no event be responsible for any direct, indirect or contingent damage arising out of using the Software, damage to data, program and other intangible property of the Customer, loss of benefit to use, or loss of expected profits. Mamiya reserves the rights to modify the Software from time to time.
5.		Others
		This license Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any matter not provided for in this Agreement or any difference between the Customer and Mamiya shall be decided through mutual discussion. All disputes regarding this Agreement shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court of Japan.
